Tree Pod Brooch, Cast Rings

A mix of nature and metal.
Tree pod filled with cast metal pods from hand molded soft wax, combination of silver and bronze.
Resined into place, making a water or sap-like appearance in the pod.
Silver wire and steel brooch pin.

Two Rings, wax carved ring band and attached to severed doll hands, cast in bronze
Hand sanded smooth
Inspired from Michelangelo's Creation of Adam Painting.

Small Raised Copper Form




Small, can fit in the palm of your hand
Raised copper container from sheet.
Heat patina finish and filed and sanded for effect.
Organic in form and smooth

The Family Necklace

Combination of liver of sulfur, black max, and heat patina finish.
From Left: Fossilized sharks tooth, silver wire cage, bronze cast guitar pick with shark's tooth imbedded into metal, left raw from casting.
Small bronze cast charm, hand formed from soft wax.  
Hand carved, bronze cast, and fabricated locket (based from package necklace). Silver wire mechanism and details.
Silver chain, store bought, patina finish, closure is hand-made and soldered in place, loop and hook of silver wire


Interior of locket, broken crystals resined into place.
Charms can be taken off chain and worn separately.



Smokey Quartz, Snake Skin, Wood, and Rain

A challenge with new materials.
Experience using table saw and lathe machine for wooden pieces.
Silver Bezel construction for naturally grown smokey quartz, snake skin coated in clear two-part resin.
Wood hand scribed with ink absorbed into indentations, hand-sanded finish.
Cast Fine silver closure mechanism and hooks from wax.
Dark Blue leather cord threaded through and knotted.

Large Raised Copper Form

All Copper, Hand Raised and Formed from Copper Sheet.
Liver of sulfur patina on underside and heat patina interior. Shined using buffing wheel.
Fits comfortably in two cupped hands.

Package Necklace

Hand Carved original design in hard wax, cast in two parts.
Bronze cast, hand filed and sanded finish, high polish.
Red Leather cord wrapped and fit into indentation of metal.





Ring and Hair Pins

Brass Sheet formed into hand-made tubing, high shine finish, soldered together
Black leather with brass tube bead as closure to adjust the side and for the ring to slip on and off the finger

Brass sheet and wire, formed and constructed, soldered in place.
Liver of sulfer patina sealed with wax.
A deadly hairpin.

Figure Drawing


Large pencil drawing from live model on stretch paper. A reaction to an accident.

Bronze Cast Faces Hand carved from hard wax using wax carving files, tools, and flex-shaft.
Cubic Zirconia stones set into bronze tubes (tube setting) soldered onto bronze face.
Hand constructed chain, wire work, four green sea pearls dangling from either side of the mask's head.
Silver Ear Wire and Jade Droplets in wire basket set in place.

Sharks Tooth and Crystal Earrings

Materials- shark tooth, crystal, machine made silver chain, silver ear wire and cage for shark's tooth
 Used flex-shaft and diamond drill-bit to make a hole through crystal, hand constructed cage and design for sharks tooth 


Wooden Necklace


Materials- wood, wood glue, wooden pegs, paint
Back component of necklace is able to move so that it can be worn on the body.
Experienced using table-saw, hand saws, files, drill-press and sanding wood.


Silver Wire Broach

Materials- Fine Silver Wire, Bone Cabochon, Fossilized Shark Tooth, Steel wire pin
Hand Constructed wire design & jump ring chain, all soldered.
Scribed design into bone cabochon and peek-hole design into backing of silver bezel-set bone cabochon.
Work hardened in steel shot tumbler.

Body Extension

Materials- cardboard, steel wire, old light bulb, thread
Cut and formed cardboard to fit as a band around my head, metal wire bent and hand sewn into place with needle thread.
It's my great idea hat!

Miniature Metal Shoe

Materials- scrap sheet metal (nickel silver, new gold) & copper wire
Drilled, formed, hammered, and bent into shape. Silver soldered into formation. Heat patina finish, hand scribed details.
Modeled after Nike Zoom Racing Flat.
Very small, can fit in hand easily.


Smokey Quartz and Fossilized Shark Tooth Earrings

Materials- Fine Silver, Naturally Grown Smokey Quatrz, Fossilized Shark Teeth
Fully hand constructed~ jump rings, bezel setting, and cage for teeth

Top- three cast bronze rings soldered together, hand sanded and finished with liver of sulfur patina
Bottom- cast bronze ring with masking tape wound into indentation~ 
great for those who use a lot of tape
